Ahh…fall is finally here along with all of the fun that the month of October brings. We finished our unit about friendship and emotions with has encouraged new friendships in our class as well as thinking about the feelings of others with the help of our read-aloud circle time, including the lessons learned from our alien friend Z. We had fun learning about letter F and T, numbers 2 and 3, the color red and the shape circle. "On the Go" lessons with ABC Music & Me allowed the children to imagine what it would be like to be a train conductor or to fly around like a plane or drive in a car on a bumpy road, while enjoying playing our instruments

Colors: Black & Orange
We continue to learn more about the letters, numbers, shapes and colors while singing along with the Frog Street Press books. We also learn about these things during our center time activities and while making craft creations or free writing in our writing center.
New units this month include; the ABC Music & ME Unit Home Sweet Home. In the Science Center we will be carving pumpkins, digging for pumpkin seeds and of course studying the decomposition of pumpkins.
We will be finishing our transportation activities and will start learning about spiders, critters, and bugs, oh my! We will also have fun doing some Halloween themed activities, songs, rhymes, and books.
