Welcome to October. We are having a great time in Preschool!
If you have not joined us on SeeSaw yet, please make sure you do. I am posting pictures and announcements weekly.
This month we will begin our handwriting curriculum. You will see scribbles come home; please know that this how young children begin to write.
Our Science focus this month will be constellations.
We are seeing the Mandarin teacher every Wednesday and Thursday afternoon, so do not be surprised if your child begins to teach you Mandarin soon.
We will be exploring colors and numbers this month as part of our Literacy learning. We will also begin having “Show and Share” time. I will be sending home a schedule letting you know what days your child can bring something to share with us.
Our class pictures will be taken on Tuesday, October 10 at 12:45, in our classroom.
I will be scheduling Parent –Teacher conferences the week of the 16th-19th. I will send you a sign up genius with available times and days in the next week.
Bridget Decker has kindly volunteered to be our room mom. Thank you to all of you who have offered to help with our classroom celebrations. Bridget will be contacting you about those soon. Our first one will be our fall party on Tuesday the 31.
