Elizabeth Ramos & Luz Angela Schullo
Hello, my name is Luz Angela Schullo. I am from the metropolitan city of Bogotá, the capital of Colombia in Latin America, where I studied Business Administration.
In Arizona I have been teaching Spanish to students in Elementary, Charter and Montessori schools for more than 10 years. I also worked with ASU in two of their programs First Things First and American Dream.
I have been working at Desert Willow for five years teaching Spanish K-6th grade and since last year I have been teaching preschool Spanish Immersion. I am very excited to teach in my native language and to be part of your child’s grow and development. I am eager to see their continuous acquisition of a new language and I will do my best to provide your child with a global education.
I love to spend time with my son (who goes to DWES Immersion) husband, family and friends; dancing, cooking, traveling, reading, movies are some of my interests.

About Spanish Immersion
Desert Willow Preschool is home to the Spanish Immersion Program. Children will learn all their subjects in Spanish, which is the vehicle for teaching and is not, taught as a separate subject.
Curriculum will focus on developmentally appropriate hands-on learning that will include cultural activities such as cooking, listening to music, and dancing. ABC Music and Me is also offered as part of the language arts curriculum to help support each child's growth and development. Classes are offered 2, 3, or 5 days a week and before and after-care are offered.
